2019 Budget
Like any business or household, each year the municipality is challenged with increased costs. The cost of providing services must be balanced with a tax increase the community can afford at any one time.
For this reason, only the capital works and operating costs that are considered to be critical to maintaining services have been taken into consideration for the 2019 budgeting process.

Budget information meeting
Information meetings were held to help residents learn about proposed changes to property tax, to help explain how your property assessment (determined by the province) impacts your payment and get your feedback.
Information meetings took place January 29, 30 and 31.
