Engage with age
People today are living longer and generally healthier lives. In West Vancouver, 43% of the population is aged 55 and over. Our population is also diverse: Newcomers comprise 45.7% of West Vancouver's population. Whether you’re a senior now, know a senior, or will be one in the future, we want you to help us redefine what 55+ life is all about.
Since 1981 the Seniors' Activity Centre has been a community hub for those aged 55+ and has offered a range of activities and programs, including fitness, sports, social events, and a bustling cafeteria that services the West Vancouver community. The facility is actively used and cannot always meet space demands. As we look to the future, our seniors’ programs and services will need to adapt and grow.
